THE BLACK LIPS .... now here is a band that deserves to be humongo guys ... take the amphetamine addled manic pace of The Beatles in Hamburg ... cross it with the smacked out acquiescent sound of the Velvets and throw in the humour of Bill Hicks ... oh yeah and the Rock n Roll fuck you attitude of ... Johnny Cash ...
